Please pray for the MCEC community of congregations: this week we hold Floradale Mennonite Church in prayer. Steve Cox and Anita Schroeder Kipfer provide pastoral care to this community in Floradale, Ontario. God, guide Floradale Mennonite Church to grow in loving You deeply and caring for others with grace, compassion and faithfulness.
God, we pray for a lasting ceasefire in Iran, that violence may end and peace take root in every community. Protect all who are vulnerable and guide leaders toward wisdom, justice and reconciliation. Amen.
Mennonite World Conference
Pray for the people of Venezuela as they recover from the devastating earthquakes. Lord, comfort the people of Venezuela. Console the bereaved. Heal the wounded. Rescue the trapped. Minister peace to those who are anxious and suffering. Equip your people with resilience to help their neighbours and guide governments to respond with wisdom, fairness and compassion. – Hank Stenvers, president MWC
