Welcome the Stranger-GTA to sponsor an Afghan Christian refugee family

Following consultation with supporting congregations and the volunteer and financial resources, the WtS Sponsorship Committee has decided to sponsor another family. Arley Loewen of the Evangelical Mennonite Church has been working with Afghan Christian families for 40 years and knows many of them. We are pleased that he has recommended a family now living as refugees in India who WtS now plan to sponsor. The financial need for sponsorship is $40,000. Donations should be made through Hagerman which will issue tax receipts for donations. The funds will then be transferred by your congregation to the treasurer of WtS.  Thank you.
